Dhaka, Feb 09 (V7N) – The extension of a subcontinental high-pressure area over West Bengal and adjoining western parts of Bangladesh is expected to bring light to moderate fog across the country from late night to early morning, according to the latest forecast from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
In the 72-hour forecast issued on Sunday (February 9), the lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 8.5°C in Srimangal. The forecast predicts mainly dry weather with partly cloudy skies on Monday, alongside continued foggy conditions during the early hours.
The department further stated that night and day temperatures are expected to rise on Tuesday, while the weather will remain predominantly dry with intermittent cloud cover.
However, the extended five-day forecast suggests that temperatures will likely drop again after Tuesday, bringing cooler conditions back to many parts of the country.
