Dhaka, Feb 19 (V7N) – The Meteorological Department has reported that the extension of a western low-pressure system is currently centered over West Bengal and surrounding areas, while the seasonal normal low pressure remains over the southern Bay of Bengal.

  • The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at Rajarhat at 12.8°C.
  • Rain or thundershowers may occur at one or two places in the Rangpur and Khulna divisions today.
  • Other parts of the country may experience partly cloudy skies with dry conditions.

Upcoming Weather Forecast

  • Thursday (February 20):

    • Rain or thundershowers may occur at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barisal divisions.
    • Light to moderate fog is expected nationwide from late night to dawn.
    • Other regions will experience partly cloudy and dry conditions.
  • Friday (February 21):

    • Rain or thundershowers may occur at one or two places in Rangpur and Khulna divisions.
    • The rest of the country is likely to have partly cloudy skies with dry weather.
