Dhaka, Feb 26 (V7N)- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has reported that a Western Low-Pressure system is currently positioned over West Bengal and its adjoining areas, while the normal seasonal low is situated over the South Bay of Bengal.

According to the 72-hour forecast issued at 9 AM on Wednesday (Feb 26), the country's lowest temperature was recorded at 11.3°C in Srimangal today.

Weather Outlook:

  • The weather across Bangladesh is expected to remain dry on Thursday, with partly cloudy skies in some areas.
  • A slight temperature increase is expected on Friday, while daytime temperatures are likely to remain unchanged.
  • Light fog may occur in river basin areas from late night to morning.

The five-day outlook suggests that both night and day temperatures may increase slightly across the country.
