In Cox's Bazar, Border Guard Bangladesh-BGB seized found 1.5 kilogramme of crystal meth (ice) and 2 lakh pieces of yaba. On Tuesday, (April-16)evening, Cox's Bazar-34 Battalion of BGB released this information via a press release. But during the raid, nobody was taken into custody.
 
According to the notice, Lt. Colonel Abdullah Al Mashrooqi, the captain of the BGB's Cox's Bazar-34 unit, learned through top-secret intelligence that some drug dealers would keep big amounts of yaba and crystal meth (ice) in the Bangladeshi border region.
 
Based on this information, a BOP special patrol led by Captain Rejuamatli began the operation. 1.506 kg of crystal meth (ice) and 200,000 pieces of Burmese Yaba were found in Goda, Jalil, which is around 2.5 km away from Bangladesh's border pillar-39.
