Kurigram, Nov 17 (V7N)-  In a heartwarming initiative, 15 Totapuri goats were distributed among widows, divorcees, students rescued from child marriage, disabled individuals, and elderly people in Ramkhana Union of Nageshwari Upazila, Kurigram. The distribution took place on Sunday morning under a post-flood rehabilitation program funded by the Krishibid Foundation for Humanity (KFH) and organized by the Ashar Alo Pathshala Youth and Social Development Organization .

 
- Kalpana Khatun , a divorced mother living in her father's home, expressed relief, saying, "I spend my days in a lot of trouble. Keeping this goat will benefit me greatly."
- A student rescued from child marriage shared, "Ashar Alo Pathshala stopped my marriage. I am studying hard. By rearing these goats, I will be able to finance my education myself."
