Khulna, Dec 03 (V7N)— Students staged a protest march in front of the Indian Assistant High Commission office in Khulna on Monday night in response to the reported attack and vandalism on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, India.

The demonstration, led by members of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement and ordinary students, began on Shamsur Rahman Road at 10:30 PM. Protesters carried banners, chanted slogans condemning India and ISKCON, and demanded justice, expressing outrage over the incident.

At the rally, speakers denounced alleged conspiracies against Bangladesh and criticised the ruling Awami League and its affiliates. They vowed to resist any activities by "militant organizations" and expressed their determination to prevent programs planned for Khulna on the 13th.

“The Bangladesh High Commission in India has been attacked,” one protester declared. “We are here to oppose it and to ensure that no conspiracies against our country succeed. The agents of dictatorship will not prevail.”

Prominent among the speakers were Zahurul Islam Tanvir, Sajjadul Islam Bappi, Rafsan, Minhajul Islam Sampad, Muharram Hasan Mahim, and others.

The protest highlighted growing student discontent over regional diplomatic incidents and their potential impact on national sovereignty. No immediate response from the Indian Assistant High Commission in Khulna was reported.
