The people of Teknaf border are scared by the loud sound of Myanmar's incessant shelling.

Residents of Wabrang, Fuler Dail, Leda and Jadimura of Hnila Union of Teknaf Upazila in Cox’s Bazar Bangladesh have heard this noise since 12 o'clock on Tuesday (March 19) night. Rashed Mahamud Ali, chairman of Hnila Union, confirmed the matter.

Kamal Hossain of Wabrang area, a resident of the border, said over the phone that there was a loud noise from 12:14 am to 4:55 am. Small children at home have woken up and people in our area are very scared.

Abdur Rahim, a resident of Fuler dail Border neighborhood, said on the phone that the loud sound of Myanmar gunfire was heard for a long time late at night.

Hnila UP Chairman Rashed Mahmud Ali said that there are loud noises. I am listening too. Starting from 12:14 at night, the loud sound of explosions in Myanmar is still going on intermittently.

Note that until the writing of the report, the sound of mortar shells from Myanmar is being heard at Teknaf border.
