Jhalokathi, Sept 12 (V7N) – The eighth death anniversary of Alhaj Md Rezaul Karim Master, a respected social worker, educationist and former head teacher, was observed on Friday with prayers and religious programmes.
Rezaul Karim Master was the father of journalist Aminul Islam. He was a resident of South Chechri village in the Chenchrirampur Union of Kathalia upazila in Jhalokathi district.
He was the founder and former head teacher of South-East Chechri Jamaddar Hat Government Primary School and was widely respected for his contribution to education and social welfare.
To mark his eighth death anniversary, Quran recitations, milad and prayer programmes were organised at his family home. Similar programmes, including a discussion, milad and special prayers, were also held at Purba Munshia Madina Jame Mosque in Srinagar, Munshiganj. A Quran completion ceremony and prayers were organised at Markazun Noor Qawmi Madrasa in Kathalia.
Rezaul Karim Master was remembered by family members, former students and local residents as a gentle, honest and dedicated person. His sincerity in both his personal and professional life earned him the trust and respect of people in his community.
He died at around 4:10am on September 11, 2018, at the age of his death.
