The demands were presented during a student briefing on Tuesday. They also emphasized the need for urgent action to address their grievances, including the release of the university’s operational outline within 15 days.

The Five Demands:

1. University Outline: The committee formed by the Ministry of Education must publish the university's operational outline within the next 15 days.

2. Presidential Ordinance: University activities must commence within one month through a presidential ordinance.

3. Examinations: All ongoing examinations must be conducted according to the pre-announced schedule.

4. Inclusion of Current Students: Once the university is operational, all students from the current academic years must be incorporated into the new institution.

5. Crisis Resolution Meeting: A table discussion must be held within two days, involving student representatives, the Ministry of Education, a high-level expert committee, principals of the seven colleges, and other relevant stakeholders.

The students have warned of further protests if their demands are not met within the stipulated time frame. They highlighted the urgency of resolving the crisis to ensure academic stability and justice for the injured.

This ultimatum adds pressure on authorities to address the long-standing issues faced by students of these seven colleges affiliated with Dhaka University.
