Pabna, Mar 7, (V7N) - Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has distributed the Holy Qur'an to over 500 general students of Pabna University of Science and Technology, aiming to spread the light of Quranic education.
The event took place on Thursday, March 6, at the ground in front of the university's main gate, near the Government Teachers' Training College, organized by the Pabna City Branch of Chhatra Shibir.
Abu Sadiq Kayem, former president of Dhaka University Branch and current central publication secretary of Chhatra Shibir, was the chief guest and handed over the Qur'ans to the students.
Kayem stated, "There are ongoing conspiracies regarding the July-August movement, but we will not let these conspiracies succeed. If the 24th movement fails, an entire generation will fail. We will unite for the country's interest, forgetting our personal interests, Insha'Allah."
The event was chaired by Pabna City Branch President, Firoz Hossain, with speeches from Dr. Ahsanul Islam, Professor of Islamic University, Pabna City Branch Secretary Golam Rahman, and renowned businessman and social worker Ashraful Islam Helal, among others.
