Rangamati, Sept (V7N) — A road safety awareness session aimed at reducing traffic accidents was held at Rani Dayamoyi High School on Tuesday, organized under the banner of Bangladesh Tarunjo Utshab–2025 by the Rangamati Roads Department. The event gathered students to emphasize the importance of safe travel and caution on the roads.
Speakers included Sub‑Divisional Engineer Touhidul Bari from Rangamati Roads and Highways Department, Traffic Inspector Jaman Sikder from Rangamati District Police, Motor Vehicle Inspector Kazi Salahuddin from BRTA Rangamati, and Assistant Head Teacher Bishwajit Chowdhury.
They stressed that preventing road accidents requires shared responsibility among pedestrians, drivers, and passengers. They urged the cultivation of good traffic habits among students and adherence to traffic rules as a foundation for long-term safety improvements.
Teachers and students actively participated in the session and pledged to contribute to safer road environments and promote responsible behavior in their communities.
