New York, Dec 21, (V7N) - discharged from his military service in September. The 31-year-old performed at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in New York on December 13, just days after beginning his first U.S. tour on December 4.

“I’m surprised that I was able to come back so quickly to the U.S.,” Wonho said backstage at the Hammerstein Ballroom. “And I think it’s due to my fans' support.”

Following his two-year military service, Wonho wasted no time returning to the music scene. He released his single "What Would You Do" on November 22, and now he is touring across the U.S., including stops in Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, and Miami.

While his schedule has been packed, Wonho expressed gratitude for his fans, saying, "Now that I see my fans in front of me, I feel really happy every day."

Challenges of Returning to the Stage

After nearly two years away from the stage, Wonho faced some challenges in adjusting back to performing. "It was a little bit strange to be back on stage," he admitted. "I even felt nervous that my legs were shaking. It took a little bit of time to get used to making facial expressions to the camera again."

Despite his nerves, Wonho has adapted quickly, impressing fans with his smooth voice and energetic choreography during his "Welcome Back, Wenee" tour. Performing at venues like Brooklyn Steel in New York, he is continually amazed by the reception from new audiences, especially in the U.S.

The Love for Wenee

Wonho’s fans, called Wenee, played a significant role in his return to music. During his military service, he often read fan letters and reflected on shared memories, which motivated him throughout his time away.

He explained that his latest single, "What Would You Do," was made for his global fanbase. “I came back with an English single because English is a global language, and I can reach fans all over the world,” he said.

For Wonho, every day of his tour has been special. "Each day is actually very memorable, and today, too, is special in its own way."

Wonho's Morning Routine and Tour Essentials

Despite his busy tour schedule, Wonho sticks to his morning routine: he starts the day with a wellness shot and then works out. His favorite workouts are arm and leg exercises, though he admits that chest workouts can be the hardest.

On tour, his must-have items include a massage ball, massage gun, pairs of white and black athletic socks, and a medicine pouch.

Upcoming Album and New Music

Wonho is already looking ahead to new music. He describes "What Would You Do" as a "new start" and says his focus is on making good music, rather than aiming for chart success.

He plans to release a new album in 2025 and has been working on new songs, including one he recorded in Chicago. "I want to try out new styles for my future album, like band sound, R&B, and EDM-inspired tracks," he revealed.

For Wonho, music is about connecting with his fans and expressing his emotions through songs. "I want them to remember the moments that we shared together," he said. "I just want to focus on making the mood of the songs."
