Dhaka, July 24, (V7N) – Three days after the tragic Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara’s Diabari area, teachers, officials, and staff of the institution returned to campus on Thursday morning.

Starting from 8:00 am, educators began arriving, still reeling from the shock of the devastating incident that claimed the lives of many students and left dozens injured. According to school sources, the emotional state of both students and guardians remains fragile, while the school authorities are working to provide psychological support to affected members of the community.

Teachers stated that the school has formed an internal committee to compile a comprehensive list of casualties and coordinate future support measures.

The entire campus remains under the control of law enforcement, with public entry — including that of the media — strictly prohibited. Despite this, onlookers continued to arrive at the scene, expressing their desire to witness the aftermath of the tragedy they had followed in the news over the past few days.

The fatal crash occurred on Monday afternoon, July 21, when a fighter aircraft crashed into the Milestone School and College campus during a training mission. The next day, the nation observed a day of state mourning in honor of the victims.

On Wednesday night, Shah Bulbul, Public Relations Officer of the institution, announced that academic activities will resume in a limited capacity from Sunday, July 27. Initially, only classes for grades 9 to 12 will restart, with lower grades expected to resume in phases.
