Dhaka, Oct 30 (V7N)- Former Social Welfare Minister Dipu Moni has been newly arrested in connection with two cases at Badda Police Station and one at Kafrul Police Station. Previously, Dipu Moni was already implicated in three murder cases filed at Badda Police Station, linked to the violent incidents during the quota reform movement in Dhaka.

In a separate development, former Dhaka South City Corporation Deputy Commissioner (DC) Moshiur has been newly arrested in a case from Jatrabari Police Station. He was previously accused of assaulting and attempting to kill a former ward councilor in another ongoing case, which has drawn public attention to allegations of misconduct among high-profile officials.

Both cases have sparked interest as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding these charges.
