Dhaka, Jan 31 (V7N)Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has issued a stern warning of renewed street protests if swift justice is not ensured for the victims of the July massacre.

Speaking at a mass procession on Friday afternoon in Shahbagh, Chhatra Shibir Central Secretary Nurul Islam Saddam accused the government of failing to prosecute those responsible for the violence, enforced disappearances, and corruption under the previous administration.

Demands for Justice and Allegations Against Chhatra League

Shibir leaders claim that many perpetrators of student and civilian killings remain at large and that Chhatra League members continue their "conspiratorial activities." They criticized the interim government for its lack of progress in prosecuting those involved in the July massacre.

"If the government, which was founded on the blood of martyrs, fails to ensure justice, the student community will not forgive it," said a Shibir leader during the rally.

The procession, which began at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram, concluded at Shahbagh, with protesters demanding immediate legal action against those responsible for the violence.

Growing Tension Amid Calls for Accountability

The warning from Chhatra Shibir adds to the growing pressure on the interim government to deliver justice for the July massacre victims. With student organizations becoming increasingly vocal, the political climate in Bangladesh remains tense as the demand for accountability intensifies.
