In a calm and joyous mood, voters are casting ballots in the 12th National Parliament elections in Dhaka's keraniganj. After touring a number of keraniganj polling places early on Sunday, January 7, these pictures were captured.

Voting will take place in spotless ballot boxes with fresh paper ballots on this day, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mohd. Ferdows Alam, the presiding officer of the Imambari Government Primary School polling place in Karaniganj, stated, "Voters have been coming to the center since 8 o'clock today. With time, hopefully, the number of voters will rise. Up till today, nothing unpleasant has transpired. Everyone is excited to cast their ballot."

"There are 2,938 voters here in total, There were 1,0466 male voters and 1,0522 female voters." he continued.

A 70-year-old businessman arrived at the center to cast his ballot. "I always go to the center to vote,There was no exception this time either. I arrived at the center early in the morning for this reason. Voting is a satisfying feeling."he declared.

The Ambagicha Government Primary School in Keraniganj, Dhaka, has 3,258 registered voters, according to Liton Chandra Das, the school's presiding officer. Approximately 100 votes have been cast thus far. I hope that this facility receives a perfect score.

To cast a ballot, Rani Chowdhury visited that center. "It feels good to come, Everyone turned out to vote including my brother and parents." she remarked.

According to what is known, brave freedom fighter Advocate Kamrul Islam is running for the Dhaka-2 constituency, while Dr. Habibur Rahman is the independent candidate for the Dhaka-2 parliamentary seat. State Minister of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu is running for the Dhaka-3 boat, and other candidates who took part in the election were Abdus Salam, Mohammad Zafar, Md. Ali Reza, Md. Monir Sarkar, and Md. Ramzan.
Three unions from Savar, three wards from Kamrangirchar, and seven unions from Keraniganj made up the newly created Dhaka-2 parliamentary seat. On the other side, five unions from Keraniganj Upazila constituted the Dhaka-3 parliamentary constituency.
