Kuala Lumpur, Aug 22 (V7N) — Nahid Islam, the Honorable Convener of the National Citizens Party (NCP), arrived in Malaysia on Friday to commence a series of engagements aimed at addressing the concerns of the Bangladeshi diaspora. Upon his arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, he was warmly welcomed with floral tributes and heartfelt greetings from the NCP Diaspora Alliance Malaysia.
The reception was attended by leaders from various levels of the organization, expatriate members, and well-wishers, reflecting strong community support for the convener’s visit.
Immediately after arriving in Malaysia, Nahid Islam performed the Maghrib prayer at the Putrajaya Grand Mosque, marking the formal start of his official visit. Accompanying him on this trip is Mr. Alauddin Mohammad, Joint Secretary General of the National Citizens Party.
During his stay, Nahid Islam is scheduled to participate in multiple programs focused on addressing the issues faced by the Bangladeshi expatriate community, advocating for their rights, and strengthening organizational activities within the diaspora.
The NCP Diaspora Alliance Malaysia has called upon all expatriate members and supporters to actively engage in the events and initiatives planned during the convener’s visit, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in advancing the community’s interests.
