We will carry out the promises stated in the election manifesto, and Bangladesh will grow into a knowledgeable and affluent nation in the future: Obaidul Quader

Obaidul Quader, general secretary of the Awami League, stated on Monday that the nation's voters responded honourably to the August 15 murderers, the vanquished forces of 1971, and the arsonists by casting ballots.

After consistently abstaining from elections, BNP-Jamaat has once again failed, and now all it can do is wait for another five years. He declared, "All of the BNP's accusations are now irrational and unfounded.

While speaking with reporters at AL's Tejgaon headquarters in the capital, Quader had the epiphany.

He also pleaded with the BNP to acknowledge reality.

"We will carry out the promises stated in the election manifesto, and Bangladesh will grow into a knowledgeable and affluent nation in the future. The nation's democratic journey will reach a turning point with this election, the AL general secretary declared.

In addition, he mentioned that the Awami League is planning a public demonstration for Bangbandhu's Homecoming Day on January 10.
Among those present at the press briefing were joint general secretary Bahauddin Nasim and member of the AL praesidium Jahangir Kabir Nanak.
