NOV 09, V7N- Multiple women have accused Todd Golden, the men's basketball coach at the University of Florida, of sexually harassing female students, according to a report by the school's student newspaper, The Alligator. The report, based on Title IX documents filed on September 27, outlines several allegations against Golden, including sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, and stalking, which reportedly occurred over the past year.

The accusations involve Golden sending explicit photos and videos while traveling for the university, using social media to make sexual advances and request favors, and stalking women by visiting places where he knew they would be. Golden is also accused of taking and sending pictures of women, as well as manipulating them with repeated, copy-pasted messages. Some women reported that Golden made them feel as though they were his "drug" or "good luck charm," especially before games.

Golden, 39, was hired in March 2022 as Florida’s head coach, after a successful stint at San Francisco, where he led the team to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in over two decades. He has also worked under Bruce Pearl at Auburn. Last season, in his second year with Florida, he guided the team to 24 wins and a No. 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

The University of Florida has not publicly commented on the matter, and Golden, who is married with children, has not responded to the allegations.
