Nov 27, (V7N) - Manchester City's struggles continued in the Champions League as they squandered a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 with Feyenoord on Tuesday, extending their winless run to six games. Despite snapping a five-game losing streak, City's defensive woes were again on display, leaving them in a precarious position in their group standings.

Goals from Erling Haaland and a deflected effort by İlkay Gündoğan seemed to have secured a comfortable win for Pep Guardiola's side. However, a late collapse saw Feyenoord score three times in the final 15 minutes through Anis Hadj Moussa, Santiago Gimenez, and David Hancko.

Pep Guardiola admitted his team is "fragile" and lacking confidence after enduring the worst run of his managerial career. "We concede a lot of goals because we are not stable," Guardiola said. "The game [at 3-0] was good for the confidence, playing at a good level, and the first time something happens, we have problems."

The draw leaves Manchester City in 15th place in the 36-team standings on eight points from five matches. With difficult trips to Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain ahead, City's hopes of qualifying directly for the knockout stages as a top-eight finisher are in jeopardy. Feyenoord, in 20th place with seven points, remain within striking distance of a playoff spot.

City appeared to be cruising after Haaland's penalty, Gündoğan's deflected goal, and a second from Haaland, his 46th Champions League strike in just 44 games. However, costly defensive errors—including Josko Gvardiol's loose backpass and Ederson's mishandling—allowed Feyenoord back into the match. Rico Lewis's misjudgment capped the collapse, with Hancko heading the equalizer into an empty net.

Haaland, who had faced criticism during City's slump, delivered with two crucial goals, bringing some relief to the Etihad. However, his efforts were overshadowed by City's inability to manage the game in the closing stages.

Feyenoord coach Brian Priske hailed the result as "remarkable." "At 3-0 down... we were dominated by Man City, who for me are the best team in the world," he said. "But we were able to take three key moments to perfection and get the three goals."

City face Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday in a high-stakes clash that could further test their resolve. Guardiola's men will need to address their defensive vulnerabilities if they are to end their slump and regain momentum.
