LONDON, July 25, (v7n) – Netherlands international Crysencio Summerville completed a move from West Ham to Saudi side Al Hilal on Friday in a deal reported to be worth up to £60 million ($80 million).
The 24-year-old winger played in four matches at the World Cup, scoring in group-stage games against Japan and Sweden, and also missed a penalty in the shootout defeat to Morocco in the round of 32.
Summerville spent two seasons at West Ham after joining from Leeds in 2024, scoring eight goals in 56 appearances. He was unable to help the Hammers avoid relegation from the Premier League last season.
He joins an Al Hilal team coached by Simone Inzaghi and featuring former France striker Karim Benzema, ex-Liverpool forward Darwin Núñez, and Portugal midfielder Ruben Neves.
Summerville follows Portuguese international Mateus Fernandes out of the door at West Ham. Fernandes moved across London earlier this month as Tottenham paid a club-record fee of £85 million for the 22-year-old midfielder.
