India dominates day two of second Test against England with Yashasvi Jaiswal's double century and Jasprit Bumrah's excellent bowling.

Jaiswal's innings of 209 played a crucial role as India posted a total of 396 in their first innings. The 22-year-old's remarkable knock included powerful shots, including a six and a four off spinner Shoaib Bashir to reach the milestone. Jaiswal's double century was the centerpiece of India's innings, as other contributions were relatively modest, with the next best score being 34.

In reply, England faced a challenging situation, losing wickets at regular intervals. Despite a strong start led by opener Zak Crawley's brisk 76, England eventually succumbed to 253 all out. Bumrah was the standout performer with figures of 6-45, while wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with three crucial wickets.

England captain Ben Stokes contributed with 47, but Bumrah's reverse swing proved effective, dismissing key batsmen, including Joe Root and Ollie Pope. Stokes tried to counterattack, but Kuldeep and Bumrah's combined efforts rattled the middle and lower order.

As India took a first-innings lead of 143, they extended their advantage in the second innings, finishing the day at 28-0. Jaiswal, unbeaten on 15, and skipper Rohit Sharma, on 13, were at the crease.

The match showcased Jaiswal's exceptional innings and Bumrah's bowling prowess, putting India in a strong position heading into the remainder of the Test. The performance highlighted the team's depth and dominance in various aspects of the game.
