Feb 28 (V7N) – Meta is set to introduce AI-powered applications on its flagship platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, according to a report from CNBC.

Meta, in an effort to stay competitive with major rivals like Amazon, OpenAI, Google, and Microsoft, is leveraging its own AI technology. The company, which unveiled its AI chatbot in 2023, has gradually incorporated AI into its offerings, and is now planning to launch standalone AI apps by mid-2025.

Meta's growing AI capabilities come at a time when the company is seeing a boost in profits and revenue for 2024. In a recent statement, CEO Mark Zuckerberg expressed high hopes for Meta AI, stating, "I hope this year will be the year when a highly intelligent and personal AI assistant reaches more than 1 billion people, and Meta AI will be that leading assistant."

With plans to expand its AI infrastructure further, Meta's move signals its strong commitment to becoming a leader in the rapidly evolving AI space.
