Dhaka, July 9 (V7N) – Global smartphone maker OnePlus has officially launched two new additions to its Nord series in Bangladesh: the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Nord CE 5. The devices were introduced in a grand event on Wednesday.
The Nord 5 model debuts with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 mobile platform—the most powerful processor ever featured in the Nord lineup. It is supported by fast LPDDR5X RAM and has surpassed 1.59 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, promising smooth multitasking, gaming, and video playback. It also includes Snapdragon Elite Gaming™, advanced graphics, real-time light and shadow analysis, and can run PUBG Mobile at 90 fps (upgradable to 144 fps) and Call of Duty Mobile at up to 144 fps. Enhanced cooling is provided via flagship-grade graphene and Kyro-velocity VC technologies.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Nord 5’s AI Night Portrait technology, 50 MP Sony Lyit-700 main sensor with HDR and natural color algorithms, designed to deliver bright and vivid solo selfies and night group shots.
Meanwhile, the Nord CE 5 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8350-Apex, built on a 4 nm TSMC process, featuring a powerful Armv9 octa-core CPU with a peak 3.35 GHz clock speed and Mali‑G615 GPU. With LPDDR5X RAM, it scored over 1.47 million on AnTuTu, promising 60% improved graphics processing and a 55% reduction in power consumption.
Both devices include long-lasting batteries: 6,800 mAh in the Nord 5 (offering up to two days of use) and 7,100 mAh in the Nord CE 5, which also features 80 W SuperVOOC fast charging capable of fully charging the phone in just 56 minutes. Smart power-saving technologies extend battery life and reduce heat, even during prolonged gaming or heavy use.
OnePlus also expanded its ecosystem with three new devices:
• The OnePlus Watch 3 runs on Wear OS 5, supports up to 16 days of battery life in power‑saver mode, and includes health monitoring and over 100 sports modes.
• The OnePlus Buds 4 offer up to 45 hours of battery life, real‑time AI translation, gesture controls, stable Bluetooth “Steady Connect,” and dual-device pairing.
• The OnePlus Pad 3 features the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 13.2‑inch 3.4K display with a 155 Hz refresh rate, stylus support, and tri-fold folio cover.
