New Delhi, Apr 27 (V7N) — In the aftermath of the deadly attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation, urging unity in the face of terrorism. In his 121st episode of the radio program "Mann Ki Baat," Modi condemned the attack and emphasized that the blood of every Indian is boiling following the incident.
Speaking passionately, Modi reminded the country that the terrorists aim to destabilize Kashmir once again. He called on all Indians to remain united during this time of crisis.
Modi highlighted the progress made in Kashmir in recent years, pointing out that peace had been returning to the region, democracy was becoming stronger, and the numbers of schools, colleges, and tourists were steadily rising. However, he said, these positive developments have not been well-received by the enemies of the state.
The Prime Minister vowed to bring justice to the families of the victims. "I assure the families of the victims that they will get justice," he declared, adding that those responsible for the attack would face the strictest possible punishment.
Modi also shared that world leaders had shown strong support for India, with many reaching out to him personally—through calls, letters, and messages—clearly condemning terrorism and expressing their solidarity with India in the Kashmir issue.
In response to the attack, India has already taken several measures against Pakistan. Modi’s statement hinted that further significant actions might be taken in the coming days as part of India’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.
