Israeli forces have once again launched attacks in East Khan Younis, causing Palestinians who had recently returned to flee once more. The city, previously reduced to ruins, saw renewed violence, forcing residents to seek shelter elsewhere. Additionally, three more mass graves were discovered at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, adding to the grim toll of casualties from the ongoing conflict.

According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll from Israeli attacks since October 7 has now reached a staggering 34,151. Despite a partial withdrawal of Israeli ground forces earlier this month, residents of Gaza who had begun to return to Khan Younis for refuge found themselves under attack once more.

The discovery of three additional mass graves at Nasser Hospital further highlights the devastating impact of the violence. With 73 more bodies recovered, the total number of casualties from the four mass graves in the hospital's courtyard has now reached 283.

In addition to the attacks in Khan Younis, Israeli forces continued their assault on Nuseirat refugee camp and other areas across the region, including Rafah in southern Gaza. The latest strikes resulted in the deaths of at least 24 Palestinian civilians, including 22 women and children.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated his country's rejection of any sanctions imposed on its military. This comes in response to recent announcements by the United States regarding potential sanctions on the Israeli army's Netza Yehuda battalion for alleged human rights violations in the occupied West Bank.

Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has pledged to investigate Israel's allegations of human rights violations in its operations against Hamas in Gaza. The escalating violence and mounting casualties underscore the urgent need for international intervention to address the humanitarian crisis unfolding in the region.
