Jerusalem, July 27– Israel has agreed to send representatives to negotiate a cease-fire in Gaza, confirmed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Times of Israel reported this development, stating that the meeting will take place in Rome on Sunday.

Netanyahu expressed Tel Aviv's interest in achieving a cease-fire in Gaza and announced the decision to send representatives for the negotiations. Previous attempts at negotiating a cease-fire have failed, making the Rome talks the latest initiative to end the conflict in Gaza.

The meeting will include representatives from the United States, Qatar, and Egypt, with the CIA chief also attending. This multilateral effort aims to bring about a lasting resolution to the ongoing violence in the region.
