On the other hand, the supply of hilsa in the fish market is increasing and the price is stable. On Friday (August 23), the capital's Sheorapara, Taltala Hatirpool, New Market, Karwan Bazar, Mohammadpur Krishi Market and Town Hall Bazar were informed. Meanwhile, some districts of the country are currently flooded. However, traders say that it will not affect the price of vegetables.

The market in the capital has turned around, the price of all kinds of vegetables has decreased by 5 to 10 rupees per kg due to increase in supply. Summer vegetables Kachurmukhi Tk 50 to Tk 60, eggplant Tk 60 to Tk 80 per kg, bitter gourd Tk 60 to Tk 80, kankarol Tk 70, potal Tk 40 to Tk 50, rinds Tk 40, barbati Tk 60, gourd is selling Tk 40 to Tk 50 per piece, Dhundal is being sold at Tk 50 to Tk 60, Chichinga Tk 60, Kachur Lati Tk 70 to Tk 80, Shrimp Tk 60 and Cucumber Tk 40 to Tk 50 per kg.

In the markets, cauliflower is being sold at Tk 40 to Tk 50 per piece, ripe tomatoes at Tk 150 to Tk 160 depending on the type, carrot at Tk 160, grain banana at Tk 40, sweet pumpkin at Tk 40 to Tk 50 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of papaya has decreased within a week. Reduced from Tk 70, it is now being sold at Tk 30 to Tk 40 per kg. Apart from this, the prices of other vegetables are also stable.

It has been seen that red cabbage is being sold at Tk 20, Laushak at Tk 40, Mulashak at Tk 15, Spinach at Tk 20 to Tk 25, Kalmi at Tk 10, Puishak at Tk 30. Lemon juice is being sold at Tk 15 to Tk 30, coriander at Tk 350 to Tk 400 per kg. On the other hand, imported and Indian green chillies are now being sold more in the market. Pepper was sold at Tk 240-260 last week. During the week, the price goes up. At that time, the price of pepper rose to Tk 350 per kg. But today, raw chillies are being sold at Tk 280 to Tk 320 per kg.

Domestic onion is being sold at Tk 110 to Tk 115 per kg, garlic at Tk 220, ginger at Tk 260, potatoes at Tk 60 per kg in the markets. On the other hand, 5 kg soybean oil is Tk 818, desi mushur dal Tk 140, miniket rice Tk 73 to Tk 75, Nazir Shail Tk 75 to Tk 80.

In the market, broiler chicken is selling at 160 to 170 taka, layer red chicken is 290 taka, white layer is 280 taka, domestic chicken is selling at 500 to 550 taka per kg. In the markets, a dozen red eggs are being sold at 155 taka, duck eggs at 180 taka and domestic chicken eggs at 85 taka. Besides, beef is being sold at Tk 650 to Tk 780 per kg, beef liver at Tk 780, beef head at Tk 450, beef leg at Tk 350 to Tk 400 and beef meat at Tk 1,150 to Tk 1,200 per kg.
