Carlos Alcaraz has officially qualified for the 2024 ATP Finals, which will be held in Turin in November. The 21-year-old Spaniard secured his spot following a stellar season, including victories at the French Open and Wimbledon, bringing his Grand Slam count to four. In addition, Alcaraz claimed the Indian Wells title and earned a silver medal at the Paris Olympics. This marks his third consecutive qualification for the prestigious season-ending tournament.
Joining him in Turin are world number one Jannik Sinner and two-time ATP Finals champion Alexander Zverev. Sinner, who was the runner-up at last year’s ATP Finals, qualified after a strong performance that included a run to the Montreal quarter-finals. Zverev, a former champion in 2018 and 2021, earned his place after reaching the quarter-finals at the U.S. Open.
The ATP Finals will feature the top eight singles players and doubles teams based on the Race to Turin rankings. This year's tournament is scheduled to take place from November 10-17.
Alcaraz will be looking to improve on his semi-final appearance from last year, aiming to capture the title for the first time after being forced to withdraw in 2022 due to an abdominal injury.
The ATP Finals promises to be an exciting conclusion to the season, with some of the world's top tennis stars competing for one of the sport's most prestigious trophies.
