Oct 27, V7N- All Blacks coach Scott Robertson is optimistic about his team's readiness for Saturday's match against England at Twickenham. Following a commanding 64-19 win over Japan in Yokohama, where a blend of young talent and returning players gained valuable game time, Robertson feels confident in the squad’s balance. Several key players who missed the Japan game, including captain Ardie Savea and backs Will Jordan, Beauden Barrett, and Jordie Barrett, are expected to rejoin the team for the England clash, having traveled to the UK in advance.

Reflecting on the game plan, Robertson emphasized the benefit of a 10-day preparation period in Japan before heading to Europe, allowing the team to build trust and integrate returning players. This November, the All Blacks are set for a series of challenging matches, facing England, Ireland, France, and Italy in successive weeks. The team has already twice edged England this year, and Robertson is positive that the mix of seasoned and emerging talent will serve them well in the tough weeks ahead.
