Manchester, Dec 05 (V7N) – Manchester United dropped points at home after failing to secure a win despite taking the lead, finishing with a 1–1 draw against West Ham United in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
United began the match with strong attacking intent, keeping continuous pressure on the visitors. West Ham responded with counter-attacks, but neither side could find the net in the first half.
The breakthrough came in the 58th minute when Diogo Dalot calmly collected the ball inside the crowded penalty area and slotted it home, giving the hosts a 1–0 lead.
However, United’s hopes of sealing all three points were dashed late in the match. West Ham midfielder Magasa scored a well-placed equaliser in the 83rd minute, bringing the game level.
With this draw, Houben Amuri’s Manchester United are now 8th in the league table with 22 points from 14 matches, while West Ham sit in 18th place with 12 points.
