Dhaka, Mar 22 (V7N) – On the second day of Eid, a large number of visitors thronged the National Zoo in Mirpur, Dhaka. Families arrived early in the morning to enjoy the festive holiday.
Thousands of visitors were seen excitedly observing tigers, monkeys, elephants, bears, and hippos. Children were particularly enthusiastic, while adults seemed to relive their childhood joy. Many visitors took photos and walked around the enclosures, enjoying the animals’ antics.
With the long Eid holiday, the zoo has become a popular destination for a relaxing family outing. Authorities have strengthened security to ensure visitor safety, anticipating around 150,000 guests each day.
The National Zoo is home to more than 3,000 animals representing 137 species, making it one of the largest zoological parks in the country.
