Tech giant Google has pledged 25 million euros to teach people in Europe how to use artificial intelligence (AI).

Google announced the funding on Monday, according to a Reuters report.

Google says the funding will help bring AI to social enterprises and non-profits and provide training on how they can benefit from AI.

Google will launch a 'Growth Academy' to help companies that use AI grow, offering free online AI training courses in 18 languages.

Adrian Brown, executive director of the Center for Public Impact, said the study found that the benefits of AI could exacerbate existing inequalities in economic security and employment.

This new program from Google will help people across Europe develop their knowledge, skills and confidence, he added.

Last month, Google announced it would invest $1 billion to build a data center outside of London. This will help meet the demand for internet services in the region.
