Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC has announced a scheduled maintenance operation on the country's second submarine cable, C-MI-5, which will result in a temporary suspension of internet bandwidth services. The maintenance work is slated to take place on Thursday, with a one-hour interruption scheduled from 3 pm to 4 pm.

During this period, internet users may experience slowdowns or disruptions in their service as the maintenance is carried out on the cable, which is installed at Kwakata. However, it is important to note that bandwidth services will continue uninterrupted through the Cox's Bazar Landing Station via the C-MI-4 submarine cable.

Customers are advised to plan accordingly and expect some inconvenience during the maintenance period. The temporary suspension of internet services is necessary to ensure the reliability and efficiency of the submarine cable infrastructure. Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures customers that efforts will be made to minimize the impact of the maintenance work on their internet experience.
