33 people are being held by Turkey on charges of spying on and planning on behalf of the Israeli intelligence organization Mossad. Thirteen more people are wanted by the authorities.

The 33 individuals were taken into custody on Tuesday during operations in eight Turkish districts, according to reports from Daily Sabah and Al Jazeera.

The Mossad, according to Istanbul's top prosecutor's office, targeted foreign nationals residing in Turkey. 46 individuals had 46 arrest warrants issued against them for their roles in this intelligence agency conspiracy. 33 suspects have been taken into custody out of them. The remaining thirteen individuals are the target of an arrest operation.

The accusations levied against the inmates claimed that Mossad had plans to attack and kidnap foreign nationals residing in Turkey. In this plot, the detainees assisted the Mossad.

To date, the Turkish authorities have not provided any information regarding this.

In the past, Mossad has abducted or attempted to abduct a large number of Palestinians who reside in Turkey. The infamous intelligence service had the same strategy this time around, which is the concerned party's concept.
