CAIRO, Nov 2, V7N- In central Israel's Sharon region, nineteen people sustained injuries early Saturday after the launch of three projectiles from Lebanon into Israeli territory. The Israeli military reported that sirens had sounded across multiple areas, with some projectiles intercepted. One projectile was believed to have landed in the region, though investigations are ongoing.

The injuries in the town of Tira were classified as mild to moderate, and two individuals were also treated for stress symptoms. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for launching drones at a "vital target" in northern Israel, though it remains unclear if their action is linked to the injuries reported in Tira.

This latest escalation follows ongoing regional tensions, with incidents involving various Iran-aligned groups, heightening concerns of broader conflict spillover.
