Dhaka, Nov 21 (V7N) – Pakistan has announced the launch of a new scholarship program aimed at Bangladeshi students, further strengthening educational ties between the two nations. Approved by Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the program will provide scholarships to 100 Bangladeshi students, offering them an opportunity to pursue higher education at renowned universities in Pakistan.
This move follows the recent easing of educational cooperation between the two countries, marked by the interim government's decision to allow Pakistani students to enroll at Dhaka University. The new scholarship program is seen as a continuation of this positive development and will allow Bangladeshi students to study in some of Pakistan's most prestigious institutions.
According to Pakistani Sama TV, the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka is coordinating the scholarship initiative, which will enable Bangladeshi students to study at seven leading Pakistani universities. The program will primarily cover undergraduate courses and provide full funding for up to four or five years of education.
