As the 60th US presidential election approaches on November 5, the competition among candidates vying for party nominations intensifies. The candidate selection process within the two major US parties mirrors a pre-voting system, with Republican and Democratic contenders striving to secure their party's nomination.

On Saturday (February 24), former President Donald Trump tested the strength of his party's support ahead of the election alongside Nikki Haley. Emerging victorious, Trump secured a resounding win over his opponent, Nikki Haley, by a significant margin, underscoring his position as the Republican Party's foremost candidate for the White House.

In his speech following his triumph in the South Carolina state party vote, Trump made no mention of Haley's competitor within the Republican Party. Instead, he focused his remarks on lambasting incumbent President Biden, emphasizing the sentiment of South Carolinians urging Biden to step aside, declaring, "Your time is up, Joe."

Expressing his satisfaction with the party's unity following the vote, Trump lauded the unprecedented internal cohesion within the Republican Party. He expressed confidence that victory in the upcoming elections is imminent with the collective support of party members.

Addressing his supporters, Trump rallied them for the challenges ahead, declaring, "We have much work ahead of us." With palpable enthusiasm, he signaled readiness to confront President Biden's administration head-on, exclaiming, "We are prepared to face Biden's administration directly."
