Tehran, June 14 (V7N) — Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a stern warning to Israel, declaring that Iran’s military is fully prepared for a frontal war and that no mercy will be shown in response to Israeli aggression.

In a video message shared on Friday (June 13) via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Khamenei described Israel’s attack on Iran’s military and nuclear installations as a grave mistake and a serious crime.

“The Zionist regime has committed a great folly. The consequences of this attack will be devastating for them. The Zionists will be destroyed,” Khamenei said. “The Iranian people will not let the blood of those martyred in these attacks go in vain. Our armed forces are fully ready, and the nation stands united with them.”

Khamenei added, “It’s time to deliver a powerful response to these wicked, hateful, and terrorist Zionists. They will not be shown any mercy.”

The remarks came after Israel’s Air Force launched pre-dawn airstrikes on at least eight Iranian cities, including the capital Tehran, targeting nuclear facilities and military sites. Iranian forces retaliated shortly afterward, escalating tensions in the already volatile Middle East region.
