Tehran, June 16 (V7N) – In response to the escalating crisis in Iran, the Embassy of Bangladesh in Tehran has activated emergency hotlines for Bangladeshi nationals currently residing in the country.

In a special notice issued on Sunday, the embassy announced that, due to the prevailing security situation, dedicated emergency contact numbers have been established to assist Bangladeshi citizens in urgent need of help or information.

"All Bangladeshi nationals residing in Iran are hereby informed that, considering the current circumstances, the Embassy has set up emergency hotlines to ensure prompt assistance," the statement said.

The Embassy has urged all Bangladeshis in Iran to contact the following mobile numbers directly or via WhatsApp for any emergency-related inquiries:

+98 990 857 7368
+98 912 206 5745

Officials have emphasized that these hotlines will remain operational 24/7 as the situation continues to develop. The Embassy also advised Bangladeshi nationals to stay alert, avoid conflict zones, and remain in close communication with the mission for safety updates.

The announcement comes amid intensified Israeli airstrikes across Iran, which have led to hundreds of casualties and widespread disruption.

For further information or consular support, nationals are encouraged to follow official embassy channels or reach out via the emergency lines provided.
