Voronezh, July 7 2024 – A state of emergency has been declared in parts of Russia's Voronezh region after a Ukrainian drone strike targeted an ammunition depot, causing significant destruction and ongoing explosions.

Voronezh Governor Alexander Gusev reported that the attack ignited a fire in a large warehouse, leading to continuous detonations of explosives. Despite the severity of the situation, Gusev confirmed on his Telegram channel that there were no casualties.

The targeted ammunition depot is situated in the small village of Sirgevka, southeast of the city of Voronezh, approximately 50 miles from the Ukrainian border. Open source intelligence analysts provided this information, highlighting the strategic location of the strike.
