Anjanari, 15 July- Tourists stuck at Anjanari Falls in Nashik, Maharashtra, were rescued after a six-hour effort, according to a report by Republic World on Monday (July 15).
The tourists had defied a ban by the forest department and climbed into the waterfall. Sudden heavy rains caused the water level to rise rapidly, putting the group in a life-threatening situation. Forest officials quickly responded to the emergency, with security personnel forming a human chain to rescue the stranded tourists.
Anjanari Falls, despite its dangers, remains a popular spot in Nashik, frequently attracting visitors.
