Dhaka, Oct 1 (V7N): Mahfuzur Rahman has joined United News of Bangladesh (UNB) as its new Editor, while veteran journalist Farid Hossain has been elevated to the role of Advisory Editor. UNB’s Editor Emeritus Enayetullah Khan welcomed Mahfuz, citing his vast experience in journalism, including his time as Editor (Web) at Somoy TV.

Farid Hossain, a former Dhaka Bureau Chief of the Associated Press and freedom fighter, has been a pivotal figure at UNB since its founding in 1988. UNB is a leading digitalized wire service in South Asia, with extensive news exchange partnerships worldwide.
