Dhaka, Oct 11 (V7N)- Nahid Islam , the Information and Broadcasting Advisor of the Interim Government, has assured that individuals involved in the recent temple attacks, as well as those responsible for maintaining law and order during the incidents, will face prosecution. He made these remarks while speaking to reporters during a visit to a pujamandap in Sutrapur , Dhaka, on Thursday.

The advisor emphasized the government's commitment to justice, stating that victims of attacks since August 5 will receive compensation. He also noted that the Hindu community's demands will be met progressively, ensuring their concerns are addressed.

Nahid Islam reiterated that the government is fully prepared and supportive of the Durga Puja celebrations this year, emphasizing that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a peaceful and secure environment.

Addressing reporters, he warned that the previous dictatorial regime is attempting to stir unrest. He called on the people to unite, regardless of religion, caste, or political affiliation, to build a discrimination-free Bangladesh . He described those trying to create division as enemies of the country and urged everyone to stand together against such conspiracies.
