Dhaka, Oct 13 (V7N): The government has urged all hajj aspirants to complete their primary registration by October 23, according to a notification from the Hajj Wing of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The notification, signed by Md Abu Bakkar Siddik, the ministry's public relations officer, was issued on Sunday. It emphasized that tent allocations and agreements with service providers will commence from October 23, as per the Saudi government's roadmap for Hajj preparations.

Failure to complete registration by this deadline may result in difficulty securing desired zones for setting up tents in Mina and Arafat. Delays could force pilgrims to stay in remote hill areas or New Mina, far from Jamarat, amid extreme heat.

Hajj aspirants have been requested to complete their primary registration by depositing Tk3 lakh to designated banks before the deadline.
