Dhaka, Oct 23 (V7N) – Helen LaFave, the Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Dhaka, announced today that a high-level US delegation will visit Bangladesh in the coming weeks. The announcement was made during her meeting with Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna.
Their discussions covered the upcoming visit, mutual interests, and follow-up on recent dialogues between the Chief Adviser and US President Joe Biden, as well as Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Prof Yunus briefed LaFave on the reform initiatives undertaken by the interim government, emphasizing that six major reform commissions have already commenced their work, with plans to engage various stakeholders in the country.
