The children of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) members enjoyed a day-long cultural festival today, featuring a variety of competitions, including music, recitation, and painting, held at the Nasrul Hamid Auditorium. Approximately 100 children participated in the event, which began at 10 a.m.
A distinguished 9-member jury panel, including notable figures like folk singer Shafi Mandol, Ekushey medalist and poet Shimul Mustafa, and Dhaka University Fine Arts Professor Dr. Maloy Bala, carefully selected winners across the categories. The judging process was conducted with a commitment to transparency and fairness, recognizing diverse talents in painting, poetry recitation, and musical performances.
At the prize distribution ceremony, presided over by DRU President Syed Shukur Ali Shuvo, Ekushey medalist actor Mamunur Rashid served as the chief guest. DRU Cultural Secretary Manowar Hossain moderated the event, with DRU General Secretary Mohi Uddin and former President Mursalin Nomani also in attendance.

Category C: Navidur Rahman (1st place)
Music Competition:
Category A: Aratrika Das (1st place)
Category B: Hossain Rajbeen Raunaf (1st place)
The festival celebrated young talent, encouraging the children of DRU members to express their creativity in a supportive and festive environment.
