Dhaka, Nov 20 (V7N) – To commemorate 'Armed Forces Day' tomorrow, the Bangladesh Navy will allow public visits to its ships stationed in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal, and Chandpur.

According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) today, the naval vessels will be accessible from 2 PM until sunset on Thursday at designated river ports.

The ships open for public visits include:

  • BNS Chitra at Sadarghat in Dhaka,
  • BNS Somudra Avijan at Naval Berth, New Mooring in Chattogram,
  • BNS Shaheed Akhter Uddin at BIWTA Launch Terminal in Khulna,
  • BNS Kapatakhaya at Digraj Naval Berth in Mongla,
  • BNS Borkat at BIWTA Ghat in Barishal, and
  • BNS Shaheed Daulat at BIWTA Ghat in Chandpur.

This initiative aims to give the public an opportunity to learn more about the naval force and its contributions to national defense.
