Dhaka, Nov 27 (V7N)- The Public Service Commission (PSC) has re-published the results of the 46th BCS preliminary examination, with 21,397 candidates now declared successful.

In a notification issued on Wednesday, PSC confirmed the updated results. The organization’s Public Relations Officer, SM Matiur Rahman, stated that candidates could access their results via the PSC’s official website.

Background

The original results, published on May 9, 2024, had declared 10,638 candidates successful. However, following the fall of the previous government, the new PSC commission decided to expand the number of candidates eligible for the written examination to match the initial figure, citing the need to address potential discrimination. This decision was finalized on November 18.

How to Check the Results

Candidates can check their updated results through the following methods:

  1. Online: Visit the PSC website or the Teletalk Bangladesh Limited website.
  2. SMS: Send a text message from any mobile phone via Teletalk.
    • Format: PSC<Space>46<Space>Registration Number
    • Send to: 16222
    • Example: PSC 46 123456

Next Steps

The notification also outlined that the written examination schedule will be announced later through the PSC website and a press release.

This move to re-publish the results reflects efforts to ensure fairness and inclusivity in the selection process. Candidates are advised to stay updated through official channels for further announcements.
