Dhaka, Mar 22 (V7N) – The rush of homebound people continues even after Eid-ul-Fitr, as many people are still leaving the capital Dhaka to celebrate the festival with their loved ones.
Those who were unable to travel before Eid due to work commitments or lack of leave are now making their way home, taking advantage of the extended holiday. This year’s seven-day Eid festible has eased overall travel pressure, allowing many to journey with comparatively less hardship.
However, a significant crowd has been observed at major bus terminals, causing inconvenience for passengers. Many are traveling by both buses and trains, while others are boarding buses from various सड़क junctions instead of designated terminals to secure seats amid the rush.
Despite the heavy turnout, the overall travel situation remains manageable compared to previous years, thanks to the longer holiday period.
The ongoing movement highlights the enduring importance of Eid as a time for family reunions, with thousands continuing their journeys to share the festive joy with relatives across the country.
